Psychological time loop life simulation game Fractured Blooms announced for PC - Gematsu

Serenity Forge has announced Fractured Blooms, a psychological time loop life simulation game featuring art by Doki Doki Literature Club artist Satchely, and a fully voiced story led by Nichole Goodnight. It will be available for PC via Steam. A release date was not announced.

“Fractured Blooms is the most personal game I’ve ever worked on,” said Serenity Forge founder and CEO, and Fractured Blooms game director Zhenghua Yang in a press release. “It’s inspired by real stories from my own family and the quiet suffering that often goes unseen in our world. We built this game to invite empathy, grace, and reflection. Our hope is that Fractured Blooms sparks real conversations that bring people closer together across different backgrounds, and across the walls we sometimes build around our hearts.”

We are excited to show MY DEAR☆LOVE, our heartful stat-raising simulation game now in development!

MY DEAR☆LOVE draws inspiration from the Princess Maker series and shoujo manga series such as Baby & Me (Aka-chan to Boku) and Aishiteruze Baby. You play as high school girl Megumi Takahashi (first name renameable) who takes on the task of taking care of kindergartener Katsuya, the little boy nephew of her crush, Atsuya Suzuki!

Currently the anticipated release date is late 2024 to early 2025. It will be released for Windows and will be available in Japanese and English. We will develop a Mac port if we reach our stretch goal!

EasyGameStation has announced Recettear: An Item Shop’s Tale HD Edition, a remastered version of the December 31, 2007-released item shop simulation game / action RPG. It will launch in 2025 in Japan.

About

Recettear is the story of an item shop, the girl who lives in it, and the fairy who turned her life upside down. Recette Lemongrass finds herself in charge of an item shop built into her house, in order to pay back a loan her father took and then skipped out on—and Tear, her newfound fairy “companion,” won’t take no for an answer! As Recette, you have to decide how you’ll get your stock—either through playing the markets in town or going out into the wild with an adventuring friend and thrashing beasts until they give up the goodies—how much to sell things for, what the shop should look like, and how to best go about getting the money Tear needs to pay off the loan. If you can’t come up with the money… well, hope you like living in a cardboard box.
